Your swing, recorded the moment you step into your stance.

SwingCam Pro watches for your batting stance and starts recording on its own — no tapping, no helper behind the phone. Then review every swing in slow motion.

What it does

A hitting coach's second set of eyes — automated.

SwingCam Pro turns any iPhone into a hands-free swing camera that knows when to roll. Everything runs on the device, in real time.

Stance detection

On-device pose tracking recognizes your batting stance — hands together, elbow up, ready — and arms the camera automatically.

Auto-record

Hold your stance and recording starts on its own. No second person, no reaching for the phone between reps.

Slow-motion review

Play back every clip at ¼, ½, or full speed. Scrub frame by frame to see exactly what your hands and hips are doing.

Clip library

Every swing is saved with a thumbnail and date. Swipe through your session and compare reps side by side.

Fully on-device

No account, no upload, no cloud. Your video and swing data never leave your phone.

60fps capture

High-frame-rate recording keeps fast bat speed crisp, so slow motion stays smooth instead of smearing.

How it works

Prop the phone. Step in. Swing.

The whole point is that you do nothing but hit. Here's the loop from setup to review.

Set the phone where it can see you

Lean it against a bucket, a fence, or a tripod — anywhere with a view of the box. Portrait orientation, batter in frame.

Get into your stance

SwingCam Pro watches your body in real time. When it sees a settled batting stance held steady, a countdown begins.

It records automatically

Hold for the countdown and recording starts on its own, capturing the full swing and follow-through — hands-free.

Review in slow motion

Open the clip, drop to quarter speed, and scrub through the contact point. Save the ones worth keeping.

Who it's for

Built for the cage and the dugout.

Baseball and softball, hitter and coach — the same tool serves both sides of the swing.

Players

See what you actually did

  • Film solo reps without a partner holding the camera
  • Catch swing flaws you can't feel — bat drag, early hips, drift
  • Build a library of your best swings to model against
  • Baseball or softball, tee work to live BP
Coaches

Coach from the video, not from memory

  • Capture every hitter's reps without running the camera
  • Freeze the contact point to make a correction land
  • Review side by side to show change over a session
  • Nothing to upload or manage — clips stay on the device
Privacy

Your swings stay yours.

SwingCam Pro records and stores everything on your device. Your videos and swing data are never collected, transmitted, or shared with anyone — including us.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. We do not collect, receive, or have any access to your videos, your swing data, or any information about you.

Where your clips live

Every recording, thumbnail, and note is saved locally in the app's own storage on your device. It is not backed up to any service we operate, and it is removed when you delete a clip or uninstall the app.

Why the app asks for permissions

  • CameraTo see and record your swings. The video is processed on your device and never sent anywhere.
  • MicrophoneTo record audio alongside your swing video for coaching context. Optional — decline and clips record silently.
  • Photo LibraryOnly used when you choose to export a clip. The app never reads your existing photos.

On-device swing detection

The app uses on-device machine learning to recognize your stance and start recording. This runs entirely on your phone in real time — no frames or pose data ever leave the device.

No third parties

No advertising, no tracking, no third-party analytics. Nothing about your use of SwingCam Pro is reported to any outside party.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children. All content stays private on the user's own device.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Since the app collects no data, any change concerns wording rather than practice. Last updated: July 27, 2026.
